About me
Hi, I’m Lisa — a mom of three, certified nutritionist, and lifelong lover of good food.
My passion for healthy eating didn’t start in a lecture hall or a fancy kitchen — it started at home, around the dinner table, with mismatched plates and the smells of my mom’s cooking filling the house. I grew up believing that food was more than just fuel — it was comfort, connection, and culture. That belief has stayed with me ever since.
After having kids of my own, I found myself asking deeper questions:
What’s actually in the food we eat? How do I feed my family in a way that’s healthy but still joyful? How can we make better choices without giving up flavor or fun?
That curiosity led me to study nutrition professionally — and GoodFoodMama was born as a way to share what I’ve learned (and what I’m still learning) with others on the same path.
Here, you’ll find:
-
Easy, family-friendly recipes that are big on taste and made with real ingredients
-
Nutrition tips that are practical, not preachy
-
And a sprinkle of inspiration from global kitchens — because I believe exploring flavors from around the world makes cooking even more exciting
I’m not here to tell you to count every calorie or follow the latest food trend. I’m here to help you fall in love with food again — in a way that feels good for your body, your family, and your everyday life.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you’ll stay a while, cook something new, and maybe even find your own rhythm in the kitchen.
With love,
Lisa
